Middle Stage
In the Middle Stage (Class 6, Class 7, and Class 8), from ages 11 to 14, education becomes more specialized. The students are taken out of the general classroom and placed in expert hands. Experiments, Robotics and interactive projects help mould a genius out of a curious mind, laying a strong foundation for senior secondary.
The Middle Stage includes students from Class 6, Class 7 and Class 8 covering 11 to 14 years of age. In Middle Stage at Daffodil International School the students begin to study subjects more deeply and intensively with a particular teacher for each subject and practical work is integrated into the curriculum. The Middle Stage at Daffodil International School is a vital transitional phase. It bridges the gap between elementary, activity-based discovery and the highly specialized, intellectually rigorous curriculum of secondary high school, fostering a transition from “what to learn” to “how to think”.

Thinking skills for the future
These intermediate years are meant to encourage independent students. By applying concepts of one area of study with another, such as calculating statistics in a science experiment, students can gain critical thinking skills. Daffodil International School wants to spark a sense of wonder at this stage of learning so that their students may feel confident and comfortable moving on to the senior secondary levels.
Next: the Secondary Stage (Class 9–12).
