Preparatory Stage
Give your child an extraordinary academic foundation in Class 3, Class 4, and Class 5 (ages 8 to 11) at Daffodil International School. Our experiential learning programs focus on conceptual clarity in math, scientific inquiry, language proficiency, and basic computer literacy.
The Preparatory Stage at Daffodil International School is the most important period of a kid’s life in the Daffodil education system. The preparatory stage consists of three classes: class 3, class 4, and class 5. It covers the child’s educational needs when they are 8 to 11 years old. In line with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), the preparatory stage is designed as a bridge for students to transition from play-based learning to formal schooling. At the same time, the focus is on maintaining activity-based learning, interactive sessions, and discussions.
We seek to engage the students’ curiosity at that young age. As kids grow, their ability to think logically and reason increases, so we encourage them to ask questions and work collaboratively to acquire fundamental concepts through CIE-qualified teachers.

Building Confident Learners
Our school in Ballia also prioritizes emotional regulation and social growth in addition to grades. Students partner with peers to complete group projects and activities. This approach fosters empathy, cooperation, and leadership skills. We encourage independence. We provide students with a platform to voice their unique perspectives and take ownership of their own schedules. Parental support plays an important role in the development of a child, and through constant feedback and reports, parents can track their child’s progress and contribute towards planning their educational needs at home.
Next: the Middle Stage (Class 6–8).
